Libby Bolam | Registered Psychologist
Libby began her career in strategic marketing, driven by a curiosity about human behaviour, what influences us, and what shapes the way we think and act. Over time, this curiosity turned inward, prompting her to explore her own beliefs, where they came from, and the power of self-awareness in understanding and changing behaviour. This ultimately led her to return to study psychology.
Her areas of interest include neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, self-esteem and trauma. As well as supporting neurodivergent children aged eight and above, and their families, to navigate behavioural challenges and strengthen relationships. She is passionate about helping people better understand themselves, recognise their strengths, explore new ways of approaching challenges, and work towards what matters most to them.
Outside of work, Libby enjoys practising yoga, travelling, spending time with her dogs, and adventuring around this beautiful part of the world.
A message from Libby:
"My priority is that from the moment you walk through the door, you feel safe, supported and heard. My approach is creative, relaxed, strengths-based and adaptable, recognising that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR and clinical hypnotherapy - tailoring these to your individual needs, strengths and goals. I value feedback-informed practice and actively seek your insights, preferences and feedback to guide our work together, ensuring therapy feels collaborative and works for you."
