The perinatal period is a profound time of change — emotionally, psychologically, relationally, and physically. For some, it can feel grounding and joyful; for others, overwhelming, frightening, or isolating. Often, it’s a mix of both.

O I came across a recent study surveying women with ADHD, which found that the postpartum period is often associated with an exacerbation of existing ADHD traits and challenges (Osianlis et al., 2026).
