Kohby Poole | Provisional Psychologist
Born and raised in Australia, Kohby Poole is a member of the Singapore Psychological Society (MSPS), the Australian Psychological Society (Assoc MAPS), and the British Psychological Society (Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership).
Having lived and worked internationally across Australia, Hong Kong, the UAE, and the UK, Kohby brings a global perspective to his work, together with strong cultural awareness and sensitivity. He has a particular interest in working with people with disability, neurodivergence, and complex emotional, interpersonal, and behavioural presentations, and in supporting clients from adolescence through to adulthood. Kohby enjoys working with people from all cultures and backgrounds.
Outside of work, Kohby has a strong interest in endurance sports, continuous learning, and travel. Before transitioning into psychology, Kohby spent more than 15 years in senior corporate management roles across multiple countries. He now draws on that breadth of international and professional experience in his clinical work, with a focus on thoughtful assessment, evidence-based intervention, and collaborative care.
A message from Kohby:
“My aim is to really create a calm, respectful, and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and actively involved in your journey in psychology. I take a collaborative and practical approach, helping clients make sense of what they are experiencing, while working toward meaningful, manageable change. My background includes supporting people with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, work-related stress, neurodivergence, and complex life challenges. I am particularly interested in understanding each person within the broader context of their relationships, culture, work, health, and lived experience.
Before becoming a psychologist, I worked for many years in senior communication roles across Australia, Hong Kong, London, and the UAE. This has shaped the way I work therapeutically: with curiosity, empathy, structure, and respect for each person’s unique story.”
